  1. Preparation. Remove the screws as shown in the photo on the left for revision 3. If you have a revision 4 case, then put the case horizontally (power button on the left) and remove the screws from the top and side, remove the cover. Make sure your components meet the specifications of the SLM3 7.5L case. If you have any doubts, you can contact us for help.

  2. Installation of the Power Supply Unit.
The case is compatible with SFX and SFX-L PSU (Power Supply Unit) formats. Unscrew the mounting bracket from the case. Screw it to the power supply unit with the screws from the CDK (Case Delivery Kit). Install the PSU with a screwed fastener into the case and screw it to the case with screws. Turn on the power cable with an angle connector to the PSU. Set the network switch on the PSU to the "on" position, if present.

  3. Installing the motherboard. Read the instructions for your motherboard (hereafter MP). For your convenience, install everything you need on it (CPU, CPU cooler, RAM, NVMe drive, if used. Follow the instructions of the component manufacturer). Install the plug in the case, if it is not fixed on the motherboard, before mounting the MP. Connect the PCIe riser cable to the MP if you plan to install a video card. Screw the MP to the case using screws from the CDK and a magnetic screwdriver.

  4. Video card installation. Skip this step if you do not plan to use the Video card.  Connect the additional power supply of the video card before its installation, if it is provided by the manufacturer of the video card (see the instructions for installing your video card in the video card delivery kit). Unscrew the corner for fixing the video card from the case. If necessary, change the position of the riser cable for the video card. Install the video card in the riser cable and screw it to the case.

  5. Installation of LCS.
Skip this step if you plan to use an air cooler. In this case, you can install a compact LCS (Liquid Cooling System) for the CPU, for example Asetec 645LT. Radiators are attached to the front panel of the case. Unscrew the front panel from the case. Screw the radiator to it using countersunk CDK screws. Screw the front panel to the case. Depending on the size of the radiator, the permissible length of the video card changes!

  6. Installation of 2.5" drives.
Skip this step if you do not plan to use 2.5" drives. Attach the interface to the drive. Unscrew the mounting plate from the case. Screw one or two drives to it. Screw the plate with the drives to the case with screws.

  7. Final Assembly.
Carefully lay all the cables using the nylon cable ties from the CDK. Check that all the cables are connected, including the power button cable. Also screw the vertical stand.
